Perth City by Leica M10-M

It’s been a little while since I’ve been out and shooting. The past 6 months have been pretty crazy. I had surgery in January for a tongue cancer. The first 4-6 weeks were incredibly difficult mentally, but things are looking up. It’s been over 6 months still my diagnosis and I’m still cancer free. You’re not considered out of the woods until 5 years, but I’m optimistic as the highest rates of recurrence happen in the very early months. Just after getting physically and mentally over the surgery COVID-19 hit, and we all know where that has gone. It really is true that you never know what’s around the corner. All learning experiences.

This past weekend I went with Steph for a walk around the CBD. On me I had the Leica M10-M. This is the first monochrome {monochrom} only camera I have used. It’s refreshing having only tones of grey to consider, keeping your eye tuned to shadows and highlights purely. I was quite impressed with the results.
